Occupational Therapy Australia reviews new occupational therapy programs for WFOT approval in the final year of the programs first delivery, just prior to completion by the first cohort of students.
The programs listed have already been accredited by the Occupational Therapy Council of Australia Ltd and approved by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. Graduates from these programs are eligible to apply for registration to practice in Australia.

Position Statement: Occupational Deprivation (2016)
The purpose of this position statement is to outline the position of Occupational Therapy Australia in relation to occupational deprivation. This position statement is intended for occupational therapists but may also be useful for individuals and groups interested in working towards the creation of a fairer and more socially inclusive Australia.

OT School of Victoria Clinical Award
In 2019, trustees of the OT Trust Fund donated funds to OTA, which established the Occupational Therapy School of Victoria Clinical Award. The award aims to promote advancement in clinical practice by supporting members of OTA to engage in clinical-based projects or studies.
